00 Abstract
FunFiLabs issues fully reserved digital currencies that move at the speed of the internet and settle one-for-one with the underlying fiat currency. Each token in circulation is backed by an equivalent value of reserves held in cash and cash equivalents, segregated from the company's operating funds. Holders can redeem at par, on demand, every day.
The protocol exposes two currencies — USDT, a dollar-denominated token, and EURC (Europa Coin), a euro-denominated token — as standard, verified smart contracts deployed across multiple chains. The result is programmable, globally portable money with the credit characteristics of cash.
01 Overview
Traditional money is slow to move and bound by business hours, intermediaries and borders. On-chain money is fast and programmable but is only as trustworthy as the reserves that stand behind it. FunFiLabs is built around a single principle: every token is a claim on reserves, redeemable at par at any time.
- Stable by design — value is pegged 1:1 to a reference currency.
- Transparent by default — circulating supply is auditable on-chain in real time.
- Composable — standard token interfaces work with existing wallets, exchanges and contracts.
- Always open — mint and redemption windows operate 24/7, with no cut-off times.
02 The currencies
USDT — FunFi Dollar
A dollar-denominated digital currency for payments, trading and settlement at internet scale. One USDT is always redeemable for one US dollar of reserves.
EURC — Europa Coin
A euro-denominated digital currency for European commerce and global treasuries. One EURC is always redeemable for one euro of reserves. EURC uses 18 decimals and follows the standard token interface on every chain it is deployed to.
03 Reserves & backing
FunFiLabs holds reserves equal to every token in circulation. Reserves are held in liquid, low-risk assets and are kept separate from operating funds. Customer reserves are never lent against and are not subject to fractional-reserve leverage.
- Reserves held in cash and cash equivalents.
- Reserve accounts segregated from company operating capital.
- Reserve coverage maintained at 100% of circulating supply.
- Redemption available at par, every day.
04 Mint & redeem lifecycle
The lifecycle of a token is simple and enforced by reserves:
- Deposit — fiat enters FunFiLabs and is held in segregated reserve accounts.
- Mint — an equal amount of USDT or EURC is issued to the user's wallet.
- Use — the token circulates freely for payments, trading and settlement.
- Redeem — tokens are returned to FunFiLabs, the underlying currency is released, and supply contracts.
Because issuance and redemption are tied directly to reserve flows, the circulating supply can never exceed the reserves backing it.
05 Multi-chain architecture
FunFiLabs currencies are deployed as verified smart contracts on multiple networks so that builders can meet their users wherever they already are. EURC is live on BNB Chain, Ethereum and Arbitrum, with consistent token semantics across each deployment.
- BNB Chain — low-cost, high-throughput settlement (BEP-20).
- Ethereum — deep liquidity and the broadest tooling support (ERC-20).
- Arbitrum — fast, low-fee execution with Ethereum-grade security (ERC-20).

07 Governance & risk
Smart contracts are verified and immutable where it matters for holder safety. Operational controls exist to protect users and comply with applicable requirements. As with any financial instrument, holding and using digital currencies carries risk.
- Smart-contract risk — mitigated through audits and verified, published contracts.
- Reserve risk — mitigated by holding liquid, low-risk assets and avoiding leverage.
- Operational risk — mitigated through segregation of duties and monitoring.
